Difference between religions

Do religions have to be enemies forever? Our world deserves something better than the hostility between the different religions.

Not always is easy to understand the differences between religions and cultures.

That is why we should explore some ways to built relationships and trust between beings. The religious differences are sometimes used to support violence and hate. Part of the problem is that all the different religions consider themselves superior to their rivals.
On the last post my partner talked about his culture, now i am going to talk about mine...

Interculturalism

Interculturalism is the integration between cultures, helping their relationships and integration. Their relation is based on respect by the diversity of their costumes and believes.
This expression define a movement which has as point of view the respect for other cultures because it defends that all the cultures are the same (none is discriminated).

The interculturalism has the following objectives:
- Understand the pluralist nature of our society and our world.
- Promote the dialog between cultures.
- Understand the complexity and richness between the different cultures.
- Collaborate in the search for answers for social (economic, politic and ecologic) problems.

There is still no culture who has reached its total development. That´s why the dialogue between people from different cultures is a way for them to develop. The interculturalism propose that people should learn how to live in a pluralist world.
It is necessary the help of everyone in order to build a peaceful and respectful world.

Until today there was no culture who have reached it, neither in our world or in yours.

The next video is just an example of the differences between cultures…

Which one is THE real? Mine or yours?

In my world, as in yours, there are several different religions.

Many gods are worshiped by different races.

But you know, in my world we can’t find good examples of something that we can easily see your world: Holy war.

Yup, In my world everybody fights, but it is very rare to see a battle fueled by religious beliefs.
Some worship the Titans, others the Light, others the Shadow, others the Nature, others the different Elements… There are ALOT of beliefs in my world.

But they don’t fight because of that… They don’t HIDE the true reasons that make them to move! They are not as YOU!

There is a lot of tolerance about this topic in my world. TOLERANCE, the word I’ve been selling since my first post.
You don’t belive?

Just watch those two draws. First, there is the representation of the Night Elves Goddess, Elune.

The second one is a sketch of the Tauren’s Earthmother.

Do they look similar to you?

Well they are pretty the same Goddess, they are the Goddess of Nature!

Do you think Taurens and Night Elves do care about it? No! They just accept each other’s points of view!

So, my message: Be tolerant with other’s beliefs.

White and... Purple?

Night elves, Blood elves, Nagas, Satyrs… what do they have in common?

Well, technically they are all elves!

They are all descendents from the Night elves. Either by corruption (Satyrs), or forced mutation (Nagas), or by migrations (Blood elves), they changed their physical appearance and created new cultures, their own cultures.

On that process they got apart from each other, and once brothers in arms, they turned in war between each other! Why? Intolerance.

I will pick up one example: the relations between Night Elves and Blood Elves.

The Night Elves banned some members of their society due to the incorrect use of magic they have been practicing so far. Then the Blood Elves migrated to another continent, and made their own rules, their own culture.

Nowadays, they are enemies, and they thing about each other with disgust.

Similar to your world. Racism is very present on it.

The most significant example I can use is the hatred that there had been between white people and black people. The wars it originated, the black slaves, the butcheries… Humans have much more problems dealing with that than the Elves!

So my message today is: You are a Human and you are a Human, you are black and you are white. So? You are the same, you don’t see white cats fighting with black cats just because their fur color…

Once I met a child...

Today I was walking through the mighty city of Stormwind, the capital of the Humans and of the Alliance. Suddenly I saw a child and I went talking to him:

Me -Hi! Is it all right?
Child -No…(then I realized he was crying)
Me -What’s up?
Child - Children’s week is over… now there is no one giving me lollypops or chocolates…

I gave him a piece of cake and left.

Then I went back home and started thinking… As in your world, we have days, or weeks to celebrate everything, but in all the other days of the year, we forget about those who are the centre of the attention for just a few hours.

Sometime we refuge our problems on these days. Shall we just care about children in Children’s day? Shall we forget all the hunger some children are facing all over the world, while celebrating all of them in one day of the year? At least in my world we celebrate them for a full week, but that is not the point. The child I found in Stormwind was just missing a candy. There are lots of children in your world missing a piece of bread! By the other hand there are also many children eating too much and getting obese! Where is the balance in all of this? This is insane! Split the food equally by all the parts!

If you globalize everything, why don’t you globalize the food? Why there is so much waste?

If you want globalization, don’t let such important things “unglobalized”!

Multiculturalism in our world...

One thing you must know while traveling in my world is the following: Watch out!

We are in constant wars. Why? Nice question…

There are tons of different races in my world, all of them with different cultures. Some alliances where forged between similar cultures and 2 major factions surged from this: the Alliance and the Horde. But are all they that different?

Well…

They look so. Can you imagine an orc being friend of a human?

They look different, and they are! But in the deepness of their soul, they’re pretty the same.

All of them love their families, their friends, their traditions, their lands, and that is why they fight! To preserve their lifestyle…

Unfaithfully, they don’t realize that they don´t have to fight to keep that, they aren’t that different from each others, and on crisis situations, they work together to protect their world, the world that they all inhabit, the world all of them can call home…

That is the same in YOUR world! You are all humans, but you have many cultures. Your (and ours too) big problem is the intolerance you have with the others!

So my main message today is: You are all the same, you are all citizens of the world you inhabit!

The World of…

Our World...
